What's great about Terri's approach to personal training is that she
doesn't just consider each client's personal goals, she relates the
work that we do together to our lives away from the studio. Her solid
knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology means that she always has more
than one way of achieving a particular goal, which means a varied,
interesting routine and not running the risk of injury. My goals were
balance, flexibility and strength, coupled with a desire to be able to
make the most of my hobbies and interests, which include gardening and
other outdoor activities. Terri designed a program for me that fits
my goals and abilities. An unexpected bonus is that the exercises are
often as much mental as they are physical, which means that when we
work together I get a real break from whatever else is going on that

I have been training with Terri in preparation for my second knee replacement.Strengthening my legs,core,and the balance work made a big difference when it was time to start rehab.I felt more stable,and didn't have as much back pain this time because my core was stronger.She constantly changes the exercises so that you never get bored,and many of the exercises can be done at home with a minimum of extra equipment.She is also very encouraging/motivating which helps me to push harder. ~ Cameron Ryan, Tomales, CA
I have been training with Terri since July 2010 every time I visit Petaluma. Terri has taught me how to use Active Isolated Stretching to stay injury free, and core training which has helped to increase my all over strength and body awareness. This has been fundamental as I worked this year to establish a healthy exercise routine. Terri pushes you every time you work out with her in a fun creative way, teaching me that pushing a bit more is key in exercise so that you can actually make progress. I have seen my posture improve, digestive system become regular, arms and abs look more toned and I am sleeping better. She has motivated me so much that I am now training for my first 5K race.
